Midsummer at Pelago

Friday 19/06

Not everyone has a summer cottage, a private dock, or an aunt out in the archipelago. That’s why we want Pelago to feel like home for everyone staying in the city, whether you’re a tourist, a Stockholm local, or simply looking for a truly great Midsummer celebration.

On Midsummer’s Eve, Friday, June 19, we open at 12:00 PM and stay open late. The day will feature live music by Isak Hedtjärn and Gustav Ejstes, a traditional maypole in the middle of the terrace, and of course all the classic Midsummer flavors, best enjoyed with a schnapps or another refreshing drink. In many ways, it will be a traditional celebration—but done the Pelago way.

If you reserve a table in the Pergola, you’ll be served a three-course Midsummer menu for SEK 895, where classic flavors meet Pelago’s own twist:

⊹ Two varieties of pickled herring, Västerbotten cheese, rye bread, and freshly boiled new potatoes.

⊹ Grilled picanha and pork rack with vegetables from Ulriksdals Värdshus, salsa verde, spicy aioli, and crispy fried potato wedges.

⊹ Soft-serve ice cream with strawberry compote and elderflower. Simple, summery, and just right.

For those who don’t book a table in the Pergola but still want to join the festivities, the terrace is open for everyone to enjoy. There, you can order a Midsummer special featuring two varieties of pickled herring, Västerbotten cheese, rye bread, freshly boiled new potatoes, and a schnapps at a set price. The dessert from the menu will also be available, along with a grilled Baltic herring sandwich. Midsummer will be celebrated throughout Pelago.

See you on Midsummer!
