Hendrik Stein. A DJ and record collector from Berlin who’s been around since a while now. You might have seen him playing in one of the countless clubs of the city or know him from his Past Forward-Shows on Cashmere Radio or the Ciao Amore Baci Parties which he runs with his partner in music and life Frinda di Lanco.

After his recent excursions into lush ambient and balearic soundscapes during the pandemic years, Hendrik’s path leads into a danceable direction again. Since the clubs reopened last year he took the chance to play some more electronic sets in bigger venues like Panorama Bar, Renate and About Blank and rediscovered some older Freestyle and Hip-House records and developed some kind of obsession for Belgian and French synth-pop from the late 80’s and latin-infused House and Italo. He recently delivered dj mixes for the infamous HAND series run by Sound Metaphors, UKs eclectics series as well as Dream Chimney. In real life chief music purchaser for HHV records, Hendrik spends most of his time unearthing rare and unknown records in all parts of the world. With Avec Plaisir records he founded a platform to showcase, sell and release hand-picked rarities since 2020 – working with the likes of cosmic legend DJ Stefan Egger as well as digging private press record releases from the 1970s to 90s.
