Maxime Catena is an Italian DJ from the beautiful island of Sardegna. For over 10 years, he has been collecting and selecting vinyl records, exploring everything from obscure Italian gems to the global spectrum of Rare Grooves—including Funk, Prog, Disco, Italodisco, and early ’90s House.

He is the founder and visionary behind DISCO BESTIALE, a unique party concept that has traveled across Sardegna. With immersive setups and carefully selected DJs, Maxime brings back the carefree and magical atmosphere of 70s and 80s discoclubs, inviting dancers to lose themselves in sound, light, and nostalgia.

During the last year the artist Ilja Karilampi has been working in close collaboration with Swedish music act theophilia, creating new artwork for the EP ”Big Bang”, out on Fever World this fall.
